Life, Love, and Learning
welcome to the Natural NP!
About
I am a board-certified nurse practitioner and licensed registered nurse. I started my path in healthcare at the age of 15 when I joined the medical academy while still in high school. I earned my my Masters in Nursing at DePaul University in Chicago almost a decade ago and accepted my first nursing job in the Medical ICU at Northwestern Memorial Hospital downtown Chicago. I worked in multiple Intensive Care Units and Emergency Departments at major trauma centers across the country. I then went on to receive a Post Master's Certificate as a Nurse Practitioner at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus. I have worked in many diverse settings as a NP including Primary Care, Family Medicine, Community Health, Urgent Care, Mental Health, and Home Health.

My training and experience has taken me as far as South America to very rural and impoverished areas of the US to major metropolitan areas motivating my drive to provide access to high quality healthcare to anyone and everyone. I am hopeful in preventative medicine and addressing the root cause of illness. With my consultation services, I offer evidence-based practices such as offering healthy food options, options in vitamins and nutraceuticals, and coping strategies to better understand our emotional and mental health needs; ultimately optimizing our physical health and overall sense of well being and balance.

In my free time, you can find me in my backyard garden trying to grow healthy food for my family, friends, and neighbors. I enjoy reading, baking, cooking, spending time in nature, eating one too many pastries or slices of za, yoga and strength training to work off those extra calories so I can keep chasing my almost 3 year old wherever life takes him.

And on some days, I love simply starting up at the sky, daydreaming and wondering. #wonderlust
